Baku
Baku somnicibus
According to legend, the shy baku can devour nightmares. In reality, it has a soothing effect on people, not dissimilar to that achieved by stroking a pet cat.
Lair or Nest- Close to human habitation.
Dimensions (adult)- 3 feet long; 1 to 2 feet high.
Appearance- Like that of a tapir with an elephant trunk, an ox tail, and tiger paws.
Forms of Attack- None.
Food- Omnivorous. May eat nightmares.
